Options
The Skylink phased array antenna system (PAAS), used for the upllink receive, is fully compatible with all downlink systems.
This allows the customer to select from a range of options for downlink transmit and downlink receive.
If a complete Skylink solution is selected (option 1) then the customer can take advantage of a fully automated tracking system.
With a scanning range of ±70°, the PC-12 can receive uplinks out to 30km (assuming a cruising altitude of 30,000 feet).
These pictures are relayed back to the designated receive site, which can be up to 200km away when using the Skylink GPS steered antenna downlink solution.
The following table illustrates a number of different configuration options:
| Uplink Receive | Downlink Transmit | Downlink Receive | |
| Option 1 | Skylink phased array | Skylink GPS steered antenna | Skylink GPS/Manual steered antenna |
| Option 2 | Skylink phased array | Omni antenna | Skylink GPS/Manual steered antenna |
| Option 3 | Skylink phased array | Customer specified | Skylink GPS/Manual steered antenna |
| Option 4 | Skylink phased array | Skylink GPS steered antenna | Customer specified |
| Option 5 | Skylink phased array | Omni antenna | Customer specified |
| Option 6 | Skylink phased array | Customer specified | Customer specified |
